Showcase the Arts - Savor New Hope is an anual summer event which brings together artists, community members, visitors, local chefs and restaurants, musicians, and all things food, art, and fun!

Enjoy the Celebration! Showcase the Arts and Savor New Hope are back after a one-year hiatus following the passing of New Hope Arts founder, Robin Larsen. Showcase the Arts and Savor New Hope were inspired by Robin's memories of New Hope years ago when locals and artists would get together to celebrate the arts with food and laughter.

EVENT SCHEDULE
Friday - Sunday, August 20 - 22, Noon to 5 PM	Showcase the Arts kicks off with "New Hope: In Character" on display at the New Hope Arts Center. "New Hope: In Character" is a photographic exhibition of the New Hope Area's unique "characters." The concept and photography are by New Hope resident and world renowned photographper, Bob Krist.

Friday, August 27, Noon to 5 PM	"New Hope: In Character" at the New Hope Arts Center
Friday, August 27, 7-9 PM	Reception for "New Hope: In Character" Tickets $15 pp or ticket price is included in ticket for Savor New Hope (see Savor New Hope info below.)
Saturday, August 28 11 - 1 PM	Self-guided Plein Air Artist Tour. There are 6 artists who will be painting. Please stop by and visit them! (Click to download list and map)

Saturday, August 28 10:45 AM - 1 PM	Photography Tour with local free-lance photographer Rick Gould. Bring your own equipment. Fee $15. Group meets at the New Hope Arts Center at 10:45 and begins walking tour at 11.

Showcase 2008

This annual weekend celebration of the arts and artists of the region featured performances, exhibitions and children’s activities, culminating in a dinner celebration of the Culinary Arts where guests enjoyed a diverse sampling of great wines and fabulous food in a festive environment under the tents on the grounds of Union Square.

The weekend showcased all the arts and offeed an exciting way to celebrate the important role the arts and artists play in our community. Artists, gallery and businesses owners can hosted exhibitions, concerts, lectures and demonstrations and inns and area shops offered special discounts.

Area chefs prepared food for the annual Savor New Hope party celebration on Sunday.

Art Galleries that stayed open until 8PM served refreshments Saturday of the event weekend.
