March 1: Band of Changes, 7 pm ($10 advance ticket/$15 at the door)
Featuring Stephanie Sanders, David Butler, Jon Shaw & Chris Harford
Band of Changes, true to its name, is a constantly changing series of musical performances by a band that never plays the same songs in the same way twice. Advance ticket sales end at 5 pm on March 1.
March 8: Open Mic, 3 - 5 pm, FREE
March 15: Four-Hands Piano Concert, 4 - 5 pm ($10 suggested donation)
Alina Rabchuk and James Goldsworthy have been working together since 2014. Ms. Rabchuk lives and teaches piano and voice in Bucks County. She is Worship Leader at Grace Ukrainian Baptist Church in Warminster.
Mr. Goldsworthy lives and teaches piano in Mercer County, New Jersey. He is Music Director at Lamington Presbyterian Church in Bedminster, NJ.
Their most recent performance together was of the Liebeslieder Walzer, Op. 52 with the Westminster Symphonic Choir, led by Robert Lapore at Gill Memorial Chapel of Rider University.
The four-hand piano recital at the New Hope Arts Center will include works by Franz Schubert, David Rakowski, Arnold Schoenberg, Chester Biscardi, and Leonard Bernstein. The Nine Recital Pieces for Young PIanists [1989] by Rakowski and Nel giardinetto della villa (In the Little Garden of the Villa) [1994] are commissioned works that were premiered in California and Minnesota.
March 16: The Jolly Tinkers, traditional Irish folk music, 3 - 5 pm ($10 suggested donation)
The Jolly Tinkers are a Bucks County based roving band of musicians that include the founders Righteous Jolly and Greg McGarvey, often with Mandolin Player Matt Fischer, Fiddler Frank Burke, Banjo/Mandolin Player Young Dan, and Percussionist Steve Guarino and many other friends and players through the years.
