Beatricia’s history in New Hope is as vibrant as her art. In 1971, she acquired 105 Main Street, now home to Havana Bar and Restaurant, where she opened Sweet Emily’s, the first vegetarian restaurant in New Hope. She later founded Spirit of the Earth, an award-winning art and craft gallery, and The Collaborative, a unique American craft shop. Throughout these ventures, Beatricia continued painting and connecting with the local artist community.
Her legacy extends beyond New Hope, with her work represented in over 30 corporate collections. This exhibition is a rare opportunity to experience the depth and breadth of a visionary artist whose contributions have shaped both the local and global art landscapes.
